American actress Elizabeth Olsen, who is widely known as Scarlet Witch in the Avengers movies, had previously auditioned for the character Daenerys Targaryen around a decade ago.

Emilia Clarke’s Daenerys Targaryen has done an excellent job, but just imagine Olsen portraying the tragic meltdown.

Recently, during an interview with Vulture, Olen revealed that she had auditioned for Dany of Game of Thrones when she started her acting career around ten years ago.

The star revealed that when she started working, she had auditioned for everything, even Khaleesi. Sharing the experience, Olsen told that the audition was the most awkward one she had ever experienced.

Explaining for the audition, reading Khaleesi’s monologue from the end of season one, she recalled the moment saying:

After she just burned. And she’s making this speech to thousands of people about how she’s their queen.

She added:

They didn’t know if they wanted a British accent or not. So, you did it in both. It was terrible. Anytime someone says, ‘Bad audition story.’ That’s one I remember.”

Olsen claimed that Kit Harrington just brainwashed her.
