Early Life and Education

She attended Lake Worth High School in 1965 and, after graduating, studied psychology at Palm Beach Junior College. Later, she sidetracked into acting, which turned out to at quite successful.
Deidre Hall’s first appearance in the public media dates back to 1952, when she and her twin sister, Andrea, appeared in press materials for the 1952 Hudson Twin-H-Power engine.
While attending college, she went to Los Angeles for the summer, where she landed some modeling jobs and commercials through an agent. She quickly began appearing in television shows, thinking it as a temporary job as she had a serious career as a psychologist.
Later, she realized that she was more cut out to be an actress instead.

They split up in 1989. She then married Steve Sohmer in 1991 and divorced after having two children with him.
