The Washington County Sheriff's Office confirmed that it got a call indicating a possible homicide Thursday evening and later found Zghoul's body inside a BMW near Southwest Sarala Street and Hargis Road in Aloha.

Sheriff's spokesman, however, declined to provide additional information citing the ongoing investigation.

Police later arrested an unidentified Aloha man who had self-inflicted slash wounds on his throat and wrist on Thursday evening on suspicion of the murder.

An eye-witness Michael Larsen told FOX 12 that he and his wife had been sitting on their balcony when they saw the suspected man, who was yelling for help. He said,

It was really cold and rainy, and he's just sitting out there leaning against a tree. The tone of his voice when he was yelling, it was very desperate.

Ms. Zghoul, who had been working as an actress, model, and voice-over artist, was the mother of a young son.
