Darrell Delite Allamby got married to his girlfriend, Tamar Braxton, in 2001. Their wedding ceremony was held in the church among family and friends.  

His wife Tamar is an American singer and actress best known for being the founding member of the R&B group 'The Braxtons,' the group was formed in 1990.

Darrell Allamby and Tamar Braxton met while she was working on her 2000 debut on the album tracks 'Money Can’t Buy Me Love' and 'Once Again.' 

The couple got divorced on 7th February 2003. In an interview with DailyMail in 2015, Tamar revealed about her former boyfriend who broke her mentally and physically. Though people a s sumed that she was talking about Allamby, the rumor was not confirmed.

“God really saved me from myself, because I was with the wrong person, and when I was with the wrong person, it made me feel bad about who I was, and because of that, he used to beat me down, mentally and physically. It was just a really hard time for me”.

Darrell's ex-wife Tamar Braxton after him dated Vincent Herbert; record producer, founder of Streamline Records, and record executive. Together they have a son named Logan born on June 6, 2013. The pair broke up in 2017. 

As per the sources, Darrell was also in a relationship with a girl named Cheria's Covington with whom he shares five children.

On October 23, 2014, he was accused of being a deadbeat father by Cheria's homemaker. According to her, he has a daughter named Sky in New York, Atlanta but Darrell does not take care of her. She said:

“Darrell got babies in New York, Atlanta, he has kids everywhere. Tamar got with Darrell because he’s a producer and her new dude Vince Herbert is a producer too."

Cheria is a good mother, but Darrell doesn’t take care of his daughter Sky.”

Later on, Darrell's sister supported him saying 'Derrell has the custody of 4 kids except for his oldest kid and he is not that deadbeat father at all.

Darrell, however, has not spoken about the accusation yet.
