Tia shared that going to therapy and going through the losses of relatives also helped her decide to end her 14-year marriage with Cory. In October 2020, Tia announced on Instagram that she and Cory had decided to go their “separate ways.”

Tia Mowry and Cory Hardrict finalized their divorce settlement terms six months after their separation was announced. The former couple have: "They both signed a written contract concerning their property and their rights within their marriage or domestic partnership, including matters related to financial support.

The agreement, which was finalized on April 20, 2021, was proposed by Mowry in an October court filing. The filing requested joint legal and physical custody of their two children, Cree and Cairo. The couple also asked to terminate the court's ability to give spousal support in accordance with their premarital agreement.
