CNN Journalist Jessica Schneider And Fiance Adam Harrison Are Married
- CNN justice correspondent Jessica Schneider got married to her longtime boyfriend turned fiance Adam Harrison.
- The couple exchanged their vows on Saturday, 11th May at District Winery in Washington D.C.
- The lovebirds met at a dating app in 2017 after the 39-year-old journalist shifted to D.C. from NYC.
- After over a year of the relationship, they got engaged in July 2018 at her family cottage in the Finger Lakes.
CNN justice correspondent Jessica Schneider is married. Schneider, 39, and her fiance Adam Harrison tied the knot on Saturday night at District Winery in Washington D.C. They have been together since 2017.
The capital also served as the theme for their wedding, with decor including a custom designed art deco poster of the couple's caricatures against a D.C.cityscape background.
Talking exclusively to People, the new bride told,
Washington was a bit wet and rainy on Saturday night, but the weather held out long enough for us to get amazing pictures at the Jefferson Memorial, my favorite monument.
She added,
The wedding was a joyous occasion with friends and family in abundance and they all danced the night away!
On the other hand, the groom said the venue was perfect for their intimate wedding with their close friends and family. The newlyweds celebrated their big day with a two-tier chocolate wedding cake.
The attendees also enjoyed an after-party at Bluejacket Brewery and stayed the night in the city's nearby Navy Yard district.
The CNN journalist met her future husband on the Bumble dating app in March 2017 after she relocated to the capital from New York City. Harrison said he wanted to get engaged to her within six months of their relationship, however, they only got engaged July last year.
Harrison got down on one knee proposing his then-girlfriend with a redesigned version of his granny's diamond ring at Schneider's family cottage in the Finger Lakes. She accepted his proposal with a sweet 'yes.'
