Chuck Todd is a multi-talented person in the field of journalism. He is the 12th moderator of NBC's program called Meet the Press and has served as the Political Director for NBC News as well. He is an author and has served as an adjunct professor at Johns Hopkins University.

He became one of Washington's foremost experts on political campaigns of all levels in his 15 years of working at The Hotline and/or one of its affiliates. He has won several Emmy Awards for his reporting at NBC News.

He is married to Kristian Denny Todd and shares two children. He resides in Arlington, Virginia with his wife and children.

Early Life And Education Of Chuck Todd

Charles David "Chuck" Todd was born in Miami, Florida on 8th April 1972. Todd is the son born to Lois Cheri and Stephen Randolph Todd. He is an American by nationality and belongs to the White ethnicity. He is Jewish from his mother's side.

Todd studied at Miami Killian Senior High School. He attended George Washington University in 1990. He studied at the University until 1994. Todd played French horn and had gotten on a music scholarship too. He majored in Political Science and minored in music, however, he did not graduate.

Todd’s Political reporting and analysis career started off only after he gained practical political experience participating in initiative campaigns in Florida and Washington D.C.

Todd worked for National Journal’s The hotline from 1992 till March 12, 2007. There he was editor-in-chief for six years. In March 2007 Todd transitioned from The Hotline to NBC (National Broadcasting Company) and became the NBC News’ political director.

Todd as a political director of NBC Presented political analysis on political discussion shows like Morning Joe, Meet the Press, The Rachel Maddow Show, Hardball with Chris Mathews, and NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams and also for blogs for at “First Read”.

Officially from December 18, 2008, NBC succeeded Gregory. Todd became NBC News Chief White House Correspondent with Savannah Guthrie alongside on the news beat. He also co-hosts The Daily Rundown on MSNBC with Savannah Guthrie.

Todd's wife also serves for progressive causes and was the spokesperson for senator candidate Jim Webb. Chuck Todd's religion is  Reform Judaism.
