Michigan Parents Given Life-Imprisonment For Leaving Their10-Month-Old Daughter To Die Of Malnutrition

The Christian parents from western Michigan left their 10-month-old daughter to die from malnutrition and dehydration after allegedly refusing to get medical help for a religious reason.
Seth Welch and his wife, Tatiana Fusari, both 27 were charged with felony murder and first-degree child abuse on Monday and pronounced a lifetime in prison.
A video footage obtained from the Monday's hearing in a Kent County court shows the couple staring judge with shock as she read out their charges where Ms. Fusari bursts into tears.
Responders found their daughter, Mary with sunken eyes and cheeks after Welch made an emergency call saying he had found his daughter dead in her crib on Thursday. The autopsy report released on Friday ruled her death due to malnutrition and dehydration.
Welch and Fusari confessed to neglecting their daughter's skinny and underweight condition around a month before she died. As per the court doc u ments, the parents from Cedar Springs reportedly didn't seek medical help for " fear of having Child Protective Services called, lack of faith and trust in medical services and religious reason.
Welch also posted the death of his daughter on Facebook on the day where he wrote,
Heart is about shattered right now.
He further added,
Woke up to Mary dead in her bed this morning-this evening had our children removed and placed on "no contact" because Tati and I are the worst parents ever-Thankfully they are with grandma and grandpa.
Daily Mail reported that the parents hadn't vaccinated any of their child-they has two other children one of age 2 and another of 4.
