Chad Duell was born on September 14, 1987, in Chicago, Illinois, United States. He is currently 31 years old. Names of his father and mother have yet to be disclosed.

In March 2010, ABC announced that Duell would replace Drew Garrett in the Michael Corinthos character on it's hit series General Hospital.
He appeared on the show alongside Maurice Benard, Dominic Zamprogna, Laura Wright, Kirsten Storms, Steve Burton, Genie Francis and Kelly Monaco.
His role in General Hospital earned him three nominations for the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series (in 2011, 2012 and 2014).
