Lowell also featured in the three spin-offs of 16 and Pregnant, Teen Mom, Teen Mom 2 and Teen Mom 3. Every series follows the lives of a contestant from their respective season. The show was renamed after its 5th season as Teen Mom OG, and she is the part of the show since its first season. As of 2018, she featured in the 8th installment of the show with her husband.

Catelynn Lowell is happily married to her high school sweetheart, Tyler Baltierra who is also a reality star.
At the age of 16, she got pregnant with Baltierra's child. During that time, the duo suffered a lot because of the lack of financial and emotional support from their family.
Lowell and Baltierra are step-siblings as former's mother was married to latter's father.
On May 18, 2009, the couple welcomed their first child, Carolyn "Carly" Elizabeth Davis. But because of their financial condition and lack of support they decided to give their child for an adoption.
They signed for the open adoption with Carly's adoptive parents, Brandon Davis and Theresa Davis which means they are allowed to meet their daughter once a year and receives photos regularly.
In the year 2012, because she was aware of her parants' abusive nature she asked the custody of her youger brother. A year later, she recieved the legal guardianship of her younger sister as well.
Following this, the couple was blessed with a second child, daughter, Novalee "Nova" Reign, on January 1, 2015.
After their nine years of relationship, they tied the knot on August 22. Their wedding was a small ceremony attended by her Teen Mom OG co-stars, Amber Portwood, Maci McKinney, Kailyn Lowry.
In November 2017, Lowell revealed seeking for treatment after experiencing the suicidal thoughts. She again struggled with mental health in January 2018 because of her childhood trauma.
In an episode of Teen Mom OG, the couple revealed about Lowell's miscarriage. She stated,
"I feel like maybe it just wasn't the right time. Thank God for kids and husbands. If they weren't around, I probably would have offed myself, seriously. I mean, I'm sure a lot of people can relate. Like, it's like I don't want to live another day like this, you know?"
