Carmine’s agency released a statement claiming that nothing made him happier entertaining audiences over six decades. They added:

Carmine, who started his professional acting career in 1962, is widely known for appearing in the role of Carmine Rosato in The Godfather Part II and Albert Volpe in The Godfather Part III.
Besides this, Carmine is also known for appearing in Crazy Joe, Car Wash, Split Decisions, The Money Pit, Havana, Femme Fatale, Top Dog, Summer Rental, and many others.
Back in 2017, during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Carmine claimed that acting had saved his life as his friends had become involved with the mob.
