The daughter of Bringing Up Bates’ stars Gil Bates and Kelly Jo Bates, Carlin Bates is now a married woman. She got married to husband Evan Stewart on May 25, Saturday, at Castleton Farms in Tennessee.
Around 500 guests were presented to see Carlin walk down the aisle to Lavender Blue.

Sharing love story on the pair’s wedding website before exchanging the vows, Carlin revealed that their love story started in the fall of 2016 when her mother was asked to speak at Ladies’ Conference at the Stewart’s Church.
The television personality revealed that she made the first move after Stewart repeatedly pa s sed by. She recalled the moment and revealed that he was nervous.
In the following day, Stewart took the lead after her family was invited for lunch with the Stewarts. She said:
My sister Erin … told Evan she would love to have him as a brother-in-law, smirking and pointing at me! He said, ‘Well, I’m available!
To conclude, Carlin revealed that Stewart is his best friend and she can hardly wait to spend forever by his side.
Carlin and Stewart got engaged in the fall of 2018 in Maine. Stewart planned the engagement destination with the help from her sister.
Speaking with Knox News back in January, Carlin shared her excitement to be engaged at the same time as her nineteen years old sister, Josie got married to Kelton Balka in October.
