British former professional boxer Carl Froch has finally tied the knot with fiancée Rachel Cordingley after being engaged for five years.
The couple got married on 25th May in the sprawling grounds of Villa Carmina which is located on one of Italy’s most exclusive private estates. The venue is a suitable romantic backdrop for their special day.
Forty-one years old former boxer admitted that the wedding ceremony outshone anything he had achieved during his twelve years of professional boxing career.
Explaining the ceremony with Hello!, Carl claimed that he felt like a champion at his wedding ceremony. Carl felt like he had won as by marrying Rachael he was making her love for her official.
He added:
I've won world titles, and I've been to Buckingham Palace to collect my MBE, but our wedding was the most ma s sive occasion. It was one of the best days of my life.
He furthermore added that he always knew he did not need any piece of paper to tell the world that he will be with Rachael for the rest of his life.
Carl and Rachael, who have welcomed three children; eight years old Rocco, six years old Natalia, and three years old Penelope, explained that it was worth the wait to have their children as a part of the day.
