Californian Teen Arrested After Livestreaming Video Of Dying Sister And The Car Crash
A California teen is arrested after allegedly live-streaming the video of the ensuing car crash and her dying sister on Instagram.
Obdulia Sanchez, 18, is accused of drink driving during the deadly incident in Los Banos, California on Friday. She was also booked into the Merced County Jail on the suspicion of DUI and gross vehicular manslaughter, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Her sister, Jacqueline Sanchez died right on the spot and authorities are now looking into the graphic video that they believe shows the deadly events unfolding. However, the 18-year-old teen just got ‘minor injury’.
Jacqueline Sanchez, 14, died in the car crash
The live Instagram footage shows Obdulia talking to the camera as she drives normally and the moment the car rolled over a barbed wire fence and onto a field.
Sanchez also cries Jacqueline's name before she faces the camera while positioning it so that her sister's bloody body can be seen lying in a field behind her.
The two sisters were not wearing seat belts and were ejected from the car during the crash, officials said.
Sanchez was behind the wheel of a 2003 Buick when the vehicle veered onto the right shoulder of the road, according to the California Highway Patrol. Police said it is unclear how fast Sanchez was driving. The authorities said that she over-corrected, causing the vehicle to swerve across lanes, crash through a wire fence and overturn into a field.

Sanchez is currently being detained on a $300,000 bond at the John Latoracca Correctional Facility in Merced.
Mary Hernandez, 25, was following Sanchez on Instagram and watched as the live stream showed the car careen into the fence. Disturbed by what she saw, Hernandez said she recorded a copy of the video.
