American television actor William Eugen Burrows Jr. AKA Billy Drago, widely known for appearing in villain roles in Hollywood like Pale Rider and The Untouchables, died on Monday, 24th June, in Los Angeles. He was 73 years old.
His agent confirmed that he died from complications of a stroke.

He is survived by sister Patt, brother Steve, and his two children (sons); actor Daren Burrows and Derrick Burrows and several grandchildren. His wife Silvana Gallardo died in 2012. Gallardo was an actress who had worked with Billy on many projects.

Billy Drago, who was born on 18th July 1946, in Hugoton, Kansas, started his professional career in Kansas radio as an Associated Press journalist. He then hosted his own highly-rated program.
Link with a touring theater group paved his way to Hollywood. He had appeared in over 100 film and television roles. He, however, is known for appearing as hitman Frank Nitti in The Untouchables and as Demon of Fear Barbas in television’s Charmed.
Billy was active in the acting field for over four decades. His roles spanned action, television series, comedy and horror films, and music videos.
Billy had worked with several stars like Clint Eastwood, Chuck Norris, Michael Jackson, Takashi Miike, and many others.
