On Monday, Ben and Julianna each moved to end their relationship. Ben filed for separation in Tennessee where they have a house in Nashville. According to the Chicago Tribune, she filed for divorce in Chicago.
Thirty-seven years old Ben explained that in his filing Julianna has been guilty of inappropriate marital conducts which render further cohabitation impossible. The Chicago Cubs player stated that he was unsure if the marriage can be salvaged.
Ben and Julianna got married in December 2005 in Iowa after starting dating in 2001. The pair wore a white dress for their special day. The duo has three children; a son (Zion Benjamin Zobrist) and two daughters (Blaise Royal Zobrist and Kruse Allegra Zobrist).
In 2017 Parade labeled the Zobrtists as an iconic “All-American family” but there was a troubling sign before this week’s split. Last week, he took an indefinite leave of absence from Cubs. On Wednesday, the team’s manager said that he could not predict when he would return to the field.
