Michigan Authorities Find 123 Missing Children In One-Day Sex Trafficking Operation
- Officers located 123 missing children in Wayne County, Michigan last month.

- Operation MISafekid rescued the children who possibly were the victims of sex trafficking.

Over hundred children have been rescued safely by multiple Michigan law enforcement agencies, said the US Marshals Service said on Wednesday.
The agency said in a statement that the Operation MISafeKid recovered 123 children who were reported missing September 26. The agency further said the Operation was objected to trace the children who were victims of sex trafficking.
The authorities had 301 case files for missing children before they executed their mission which was the first in Wayne County. The rescued children were all interviewed by the authorities for the possible sex victims and the three were identified as sex trafficking cases.
One of the children was homeless teenage who had not eaten for three days, and the authorities sent him back to their command post for food and turned him over to Child Protective Services for aftercare.
In addition, the officers found two other missing children in Minnesota and Texas and the cases have been investigated, the officials said. The US Marshals Service said,
The message to the missing children and their families that we wish to convey is that we will never stop looking for you.
The officers who involved in the one-day operation started investigating the cases days before the execution day. They visited last known addresses, friend's homes, and schools.
