The former Kentucky quarterback Jared Lorenzen died on 3rd July, Wednesday. He was 38 years old.
On Wednesday, Jared’s family released a statement confirming the death. As per the statement, Jared was hospitalized last Friday and was admitted to ICU with kidney and heart issues.

The statement started with sincere thanks and appreciation for all the fans for their support and prayers over the last six days. The family members are deeply saddened to announce the death of Jared.

Jared, who had played for Kentucky from 2000 to 2003, had played in 43 games throwing 10,354 years with 78 touchdowns and 41 interceptions.
Jared went undrafted out of the college but signed the New York Giants as a free agent. He had appeared in four NFL games completing 4 of 7 pa s s attempts for 23 years.
Jared would continue playing in indoor football leagues following his time in NFL.
