The former Strictly Come Dancing star Aliona Vilani has confirmed to take a legal action against Johnny Ball after he accused her of lying about injuring herself when they were together in the 2012 series.
The 33-year-old actress has denied his accusation and has decided to go legally against the 79-year-old TV veteran. She announced it on Twitter which read: "I am aware that Johnny Ball has made allegations regarding my fractured ankle during 2012 SCD, which I strongly deny.

In a chat with The Sun on Sunday, Johnny claimed her injury was a fix and her replacement deliberately choreographed which was too difficult for him so he would get booted off first.
Aliona is the only contestant to win the show twice before she left the show in 2015. She won the show with McFly's Harry Judd in 2011 and later with The Wanted's Jay McGuinness in 2015.
She also partnered Rav Wilding, Tony Jacklin, and Gregg Wallace, and was named the runner-up with Countryfile host Matt Baker in 2010.
