Synopsis
Aidan Turner is an Irish actor best known for appearing in The Hobbit as Kili and Being Human as John Mitchell. She won the National Television Awards’ Impact Award for 2015 series Poldark. He currently appears in the Poldark with Eleanor Tomlinson in the lead character.
Early life and Education
Aidan Turner was born on 19 June 1983 in Clondalkin, Dublin, Ireland. He belongs to Caucasian ethnicity and holds an Irish nationality.
Aidan is the son of Pat Turner and Eileen Turner. He grew up with his brother Colin Turner in her hometown. Colin Turner is the head of School for Engineering, having taken up that role in 2010, and Professor of Engineering Education since 2013.
Aidan later moved to Walkinstown with his family. He attended St. Mac Dara's Community College in Dublin, Ireland. Aidan even joined Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin, Ireland (2004).
Career
After graduating from the Gaiety School of Acting, Aidan appeared in several theater plays, including The Plough and the Stars, Romeo & Juliet, and A Cry from Heaven.
Aidan started his television career with an unaccredited appearance on the historical fiction television series, The Tudors in 2007.
The same year, Aidan appeared in the short films, The Sound of People as Father and Matterhorn as Theodore.
In the year 2008, Aidan portraying as Mal in the Irish thriller film Alarm. The same year, he also played as a Ruairi McGowan in the Irish primetime television medical drama series, The Clinic until 2009.
In 2009, Aidan moved to the UK where he got a starring role in BBC's acclaimed Being Human. Since 2015, he has been featuring as a Ross Poldark in the BBC TV series Poldark.
Personal life
Aidan Turner is an unmarried. However, he has been into several failed relationships till now.
Aidan Turner and Lenora Crichlow were in a relationship since 2009. The couple first met on the set of BBC ‘Three’ show and started dated until 2011.
Previously, Aidan dated an Irish actress Charlene McKenna for two years. There was also rumor that he had an affair with an actress India Whisker in 2004 whom he met in his drama school in Dublin.
Aidan dated Sarah Greene for five years from 2011 to 2015 September. He was in love with Sarah at the time while he was shooting for Hobbit in New Zealand.
Sara is an Irish Actress best-known form the film ‘Broadway’ and ‘West End’ as Helen McCormick. They might be separated due to their inability to spend time together because of their work.
Aidan was again linked with his ex-girlfriend Lenora Crichlow in April 2016. The couple was pictured having wine together in Los Angeles which made people speculate about their affair.
Aidan was seen with Tara Derakshan, his latest girlfriend in October 2016. The couple was spotted kissing each other on the streets of London.
