Italian actress and director Asia Argento, one of the high profile accusers of Harvey Weinstein, has made a settlement with her own accuser who accused her of sexual a s sault.

The New York Times reported that the 42-year-old Scarlet Diva alum paid $380,000 to Jimmy Bennett, an actor and rock musician who played her son in 2004 movie The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things.

The 22-year-old musician accused Argento that Argento then 37-year-old actress sexually a s saulted him in a California hotel room in 2013. Bennett told that Argento kissed him, performed oral sex on him, and engaging in intercourse.

Sources familiar with the case told NY Times, Bennett gave the selfie and its copyright to Argento as part of the agreement-the photograph showed Bennett and Argento in bed.

Carrie Goldberg, Argento's attorney described the money as "helping Mr. Bennett." He wrote in the statement,

We hope nothing like this ever happens to you again. You are a powerful and inspiring creator and it is a miserable condition of life that you live among s---y individuals who've preyed on both your strengths and your weaknesses.

NY Times reported Gordin K. Sattro, Bennett's attorney wrote in the notice of intent:

Bennett's feelings about that day were brought to the forefront recently when Ms. Argento took the spotlight as one of the many victims of Harvey Weinstein.

Talking with Times Sattro told,

In the coming days, Jimmy will continue doing what he has been doing over the past months and years, focusing on his music.

According to the reports, Argento settled the deal with Bennett in April when her late boyfriend Anthony Bourdain helped her in navigating the matter. Bourdain died of suicide on June 8.

Argento was one of the over 60 women who came forward with their accusation over the disgraced movie mogul Weinstein of a sexual misdemeanor, hara s sment, and rape. Then, Argento told New Yorker reporter Ronan Farrow that Weinstein forced her to perform oral sex on her in 1997. She said,

I was not willing. I said, 'No, no, no.' ...It's twisted. A big fat man wanting to eat you. it's a scary fairy tale.

Argento described the incident as "onanistic," though she admitted to having several consensual sexual relationships with Weinstein over the course of the next five years after the alleged incident.
