Actor Jay Mohr And Nikki Cox's Divorce Finalized After Two Years

• Ghost Whisperer actor Jay Mohr is officially divorced from his wife Nikki Cox.
• The 43-year-old actor who filed for divorce in December 2016 was married to Cox since 2006.
• The pair has also agreed to the custody of their only child, Daniel Mohr.
• Jay and Nikki first met on the sets of NBC series Las Vegas and started dating shortly after.

Jay Mohr and wife Nikki Cox's are finally divorced. The couple finalized their divorce two years after the Ghost Whisperer alum filed for divorce.

The Blast confirmed their divorce and said the ex-lovebirds have agreed to a custody plan of their 7-year-old son Meredith Daniel, however, no information about the child and spousal support were obtained.

Mohr, 47, first filed for divorce from Cox in July 2016 but called off the divorce just six days after filing. Mohr filed the case for the second time in December 2016, citing irreconcilable differences. Mohr's court doc u ments read:

I and Cox have continued to reside in the same residence with our children but our living situation has become has become extremely confusing and untenable; and, our son is suffering.

He added,

Based upon the increasing hostility in our home, Nikki's ongoing refusal to attend her mental issues... her abuse of drugs, and her failure to respect boundaries, I had no choice but to obtain alternate housing for me and our son.

Cox and Mohr were married for a decade before Mohr filed for divorce. The pair who met in 2004, when he guest-starred on NBC drama Las Vegas. They started dating shortly after her first meeting and got engaged in February 2006 and wed in December that year. They welcomed their only child, Meredith Daniel Mohr on May 5, 2011.
