Not any happiness can be greater for a footballer than being able to play the world cup! So has happened to the 20-year-old English footballer Marcus Rashford.

The Manchester United forward has been called up for Gareth Southgate's 23-man squad for England in this world cup.

The English manager announced the squad Wednesday morning announcing Rashford's selection in England's forward line-up including Raheem Sterling, Kamie Vardy, Harry Kane, and Danny Welbeck.

Rashford was over the cloud after the selection. He posted a heart-touching message, dedicated to his mother, on his Twitter Wednesday evening.

"After years of you standing on the touchline in the cold and rain, Mum we're off to the world cup!," wrote Rashford on Twitter.
