The Long Island Medium starlet Theresa Caputo and Larry Caputo, her husband of 28 years, have split.
The husband-wife duo announced their separation in a joint statement to People on Sunday where the 51-year-old actress said,
After 28 years of marriage, we have decided to legally separate. We will always love each other and our two wonderful children. We are united in supporting each other and our family. Please respect our privacy during this time.
Caputo, who shares two children, Larry Caputo Jr. and Victoria Caputo with her husband Caputo, unveiled that her marriage was going through a rough patch in a recent episode of Long Island Medium.

According to E! News, she explained to a close friend,
Since the last season of Long Island Medium and through a period of time, Larry and I's relationship has changed."
She added,
We've been there for each other, you know, through thick and thin, you know, good times, and right now are not such great times.
Larry didn't comment, but he retweeted a fan who expressed support to the couple after Theresa talked about her relationship troubles. A few days back, a source close to the husband and wife told TMZ that Theresa and Larry were spending time apart but there 'may be room for reconciliation in the future.
