Actress Jessica Chastain and her husband Gian Luca Pasi de Preposulo secretly gave birth to their first child, multiple sources confirmed.

The 42-year-old two time Oscar nominee sparked the rumor after she was spotted pushing a baby stroller while she walked to the set of her upcoming movie Eve in October.

At that time, the Zero Dark Thirty actress covered the top of the stroller with a white baby blanket.  Days later, the proud father Gian was captured carrying a baby car seat into a hotel with his wife and her a s sistant.

In mid-November, Chastain and Preposulo were seen taking their newborn to the pediatrician's appointment in New York City. According to Page Six, the pair welcomed their daughter, Giulietta Pa s si Chastain. through surrogate.

Chastain and Prepusolo started dating in 2012 and after five years of relationship, the lovebirds tied the knot in June 2017 at Villa Tiepolo Pa s si, in the Carbonera area of Treviso, Italy.

Talking about her relationship with W Magazine in 2015, Chastain told,

He's a gentleman. And that's very important to me. He's from an old-school Italian family. No one in his family has ever been divorced!

In February this year, Chastain admitted that she never thought of getting married before she met Pa s si de Preposulo. She further said to the WSJ Magazine,

He knew that marriage wasn't something I was interested in. And then as we got to know each other, the idea of marriage shifted for me. There are some things worth celebrating-and he's worth celebrating. ...I actually love being married. I never thought I would, but this is a spectacular human being, and I am celebrating that I get to share my life with him.

The lovebirds saw The Band's Visit on Broadway and had dinner at a vegan Japanese restaurant in New York City celebrating their one-year wedding anniversary.
