Actor Bill Daily Pa s ses Away At 91-Dies Of Natural Causes

Actor and comedian, Bill Daily, best known for his role as Major Healey on 60s hit sitcom I Dream of Jeannie has died at the age of 91.
Bill's son, J. Patrick Daily announced the death of his father to Variety and The Hollywood Reporter revealing his father died of the natural causes on Monday, September 4, in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
J. Patrick told Variety that his father loved every sunset. He further told,
He loved every meal. He just decided to be happy about everything.
Barbara Eden who played the title role in I Dream of Jeannie remembered the late actor on Twitter where she wrote: "Our favorite zany astronaut, Bill Daily has pa s sed." Here is the post.

Daily worked on The Bob Newhart Show for six long seasons after Jeannie where he played Newhart's neighbor, an airplane pilot Howard Borden. "Billy was one of the most positive people I've ever known. I will miss him dearly", Bob Newhart wrote on his Twitter.

Daily was born on August 30, 1927, in Des Moines, Iowa. His first credited role came in 1964 when he worked as Mr. Johnson in an episode of Bewitched.
He is survived by his son J. Patrick-he works as a key grip for motion pictures.
