Steam’s lead singer Gary DeCarlo has taken his last breath after battling cancer as confirmed by tmz.
Gary was popularly known for the hit chartbuster ‘Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye’.
It was the era of 1969 when the song topped the charts and marked its position as one of the ubiquitous tracks of all time.
Pat Horgan whom Gary was close with told that his death took place in hospice care in Connecticut. He was suffering from lung cancer and eventually it spread all over his body.
Horgan also confirmed that his wife was lying by his side when he breathed last.
Gary one of the renowned name in the music industry and this is a big loss for the entire industry. Rest in peace Gary DeCarlo.
