Andrea Canning And Tony Bancroft Give Birth To Their Sixth Child, A Baby Boy
- Dateline correspondent Andrea Canning gave birth to her sixth child, first son with husband, Tony Braxton.
- They welcomed the baby boy on Tuesday, 18th June, her rep confirmed.
- Canning announced on the New Year's Eve that she was going to welcome a baby in 2019 in a clip posted on Dateline's Twitter.
- The Canadian-born correspondent also revealed she was finally having a baby boy after five girls.
Congratulations are in order for Andrea Canning. The Dateline correspondent, 46, gave birth to her first son, the sixth child with husband USMC Lieutenant Colonel Tony Bancroft.
A representative for Canning confirmed the lovebirds gave birth to the little bundle of joy on Tuesday, June 18. The boy, who is named George Anthony Bancroft III, weighed 9 pounds, 7 ounces and measured 22 inches in length.

The new mom, Canning, told People of her happiness in welcoming the first son as:
We are beyond blessed to have this (big) little man in our lives. His five older sisters are over the moon and ready to welcome the first baby boy into the family!
On New Year's Eve, Canning announced the happy news of her pregnancy on Dateline's Twitter. She said: "In 2019, I'm having a baby!" in her tweet.

She further said, "But will it be a boy or a girl? Let's find out!" before popping a giant black balloon that poured blue confetti onto her. And then she confirmed she was having a baby boy "finally after five girls."
Canning welcomed her youngest daughter, Elle Corbin in June 2015. She has four other daughters; Georgia Rapalje, 5, Christina Margaret, 6½, Charlotte Brewster, 9, and Anna Katherine, 10.
Canning and Bancroft have been married since 2008.
