90 Day Fiance star Luis Mendez has remarried just five months after finalizing his divorce from his ex-wife Molly Hopkins. The 27-year-old actor told In Touch on October 22 that they tied the knot around a month ago.
Mendez said,
Yes, I did get married. I love this girl so much. She is amazing. The most amazing part was meeting her because she changed all life to happiness.
People reported that Mendez tied the knot with his new wife, whose identity is still under the wrap, on September 19. mendez later posted a couple of photos from the wedding on his Instagram writing "Amazing night. Blessings," alongside the photo.
Talking with the In Touch, the TLC television personality also said that he is not in contact with his ex-wife Hopkins, 43. He said,
I have no contact with her. I just want to be happy. I don't want to know anything about it. But if she wants to congratulate me, it's OK.
Meanwhile, Hopkins got to know about her ex-husband's new marriage ager seeing his social media posts from the reception. After seeing the photos, Hopkins had reacted to it through Instagram Live in early October. She told,
Oh yeah, for all of you who care, or who wanted to talk junk about me, I totally got used, but it's all good. Luis got married to a Dominican lady in Jersey, best I can tell. I saw pictures. Yeah, he's married to someone else.
She further said,
She looks older than me, from the Dominican Republic. So all the people who thought I was crazy, his situation was pretty lovely. I mean, we were together for two years, so it's all good. Oh God, it doesn't hurt at all. I'm good. I'm so good.
Mendez and his ex-wife Hopkins revealed their relationship on the fifth season of the TLC reality series. Hopkins and Mendez first met at a bar in Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic while she was vacationing with her friends. The Dominican-republic native proposed her two months after their first meet and tied the knot in July 2017.
