Dak Prescott was born on 29^th July 1993 in Sulphur, Louisiana, United States. He went to Haughton High School in Haughton, Louisiana. He was a three-time member of the SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll.

He then completed graduation in Psychology from the Mississippi State University. He also holds a Master’s degree in Workforce Leadership.

His father, Nathaniel Prescott is an African-American whereas his mother is a European American.

He has four siblings: Ted Prescott, Jace Prescott, a half-sister Natalie Prescott-Smith and a half-brother Elliott Prescott.

Career

His professional football career took a major leap when he made it to the 2016 NFL Draft. The Dallas Cowboys selected him in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft.

Before joining the NFL, Prescott played at the college level for the Mississippi State Bulldogs from 2013 to 2015.
