A show spokesperson confirmed the news claiming that the game show, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire will not return in national syndication for 2019-2020 season after successful seventeen years on the air.

The longstanding game show first got premiered in August 1999 on ABC before moving to syndication in the year 2002.
