The couple started dating when they reached their 20s and married after three years of the affair. Shortly after that, the couple permanently left the Netherlands and made their way to Canada. They have five children Bianca Beets, Kelvin Beets, Michale Beets, Monica Beets, and Jasmine Beets. Their younger daughter Jasmine Beets, sadly, died after two and a half months of her birth in 1992.
