Chile

Chile is one of the South American countries officially known as Republic of Chile. Chile is also known as chilli for having the shape of Chilli in the map. It occupies long narrow strip of land between the ANndes Mountains to the east and the Pacific Ocean to the west. It lies in the Pacific Ring of Fire. It shares its border with Peru in the north, Bolivia in the northeast, Argentina in the east and the Drake Passage in the far south. The country stands with the motto of By right or Might. People of Chile are called Chilean. Santiago is the capital of Chile and the national language of Chile is Spanish. Chile is known as South America’s most stable and prosperous nations ranking ahead in human development index, competitiveness, per capita income, globalization, low perception of corruption and state of peace. Chili is rich in cultural and natural diversity. It is the home to several species of flora and fauna. Chile is famous for association football in the world. It has appeared in eight FIFA World Cups hosting the 1962 FIFA World Cup. Besides, it has won several of the awards in football making the name of Chile famous in the world often.
