Susan Hendricks is an American journalist who serves for HLN Now in America as an anchor and a substitute anchor for CNN based in Atlanta. She also appears occasionally on CNN pipeline, on-demand broadband news service of CNN and also serves as the fill-in anchor for Robin Meade on Morning Express with Robin Meade.

Early Life and Education

Susan was born in the year 1973 on April 7 in New Brunswick, New Jersey. She has an American Nationality and belongs to white ethnicity. She has spent most of her years in New Brunswick and has completed her education from there.

Susan graduated from Hun School of Princeton located in Princeton, New Jersey in the year 1991. She then went to Arizona State University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in ma s s communications.

Career

After her graduation, she made her debut in the broadcast journalism arena working at Comcast Cable located in Orange County, CA. After some time at the station, she joined KESQ in Palm Springs as a field reporter.

While working with the KESQ, she got the chance to meet with her inspiration Walter Cronkite for a piece of KESQ and was able to interview him. After two years with the KESQ, she joined the NBC affiliate KMIR station as an anchor for the two-hour morning show.

After some years with KMIR, she moved to Atlanta and joined CNN Headline News anchoring the weekend and primetime news shows. Her work with CNN can be highlighted with the coverage of several of the breaking news and hot stories.

She also served as an entertainment correspondent. Within the network, she also anchored CNN's interactive news site on CNN.com. After some years, she moved to Los Angeles joining DIRECTV but she was encouraged to work with CNN Headline News as she got more exposure and work with CNN.

She has interviewed several of the famous personalities and also has covered Iraqi leader's arrest, Hurricane Katrina destruction and the official funeral of US president Ronald Regan and much more.
