Sue Simmons started off as a consumer action reporter at the WTNH-TV after which she worked in the WBAL-TV from the years 1974 to 1976. She held the position of a reporter and anchor for the WRC-TV from 1976 to 1980.
Sue Simmons was the co-anchor for the WNBC’s hit show Live at Five from 1980 to 2007. She who anchored with Chuck Scarborough and they were called Chuck and sue. They were together since Simmon’s arrival in the WNBC and they have been known for being the part of the longest run for an anchor team in the history of New York City television.
