Sommer Ray was born on the 15th of September, 1996 in Larkspur, Colorado. Her father was a gym athlete and her mother Shannon Ray is also a fitness enthusiast. Ray's nationality is American while her ethnicity is mixed as her mother is a Czechoslovakian and her father is unknown. 

She has three other siblings; Savannah Ray, Bronson Ray and Skylyn Ray, who are also a social media personality. As a child, Sommer Ray used to travel a lot, as a result of their parent's profession.

She has not disclosed any information regarding her academic background, but she has stated that she was interested in modeling since an early age.

Sommer Ray is a model by profession and her works are limited to Instagram. She has more than 19 million followers on her account, where she uploads her photo shoots. She is often seen posing in swimwears of major fashion labels, which has led us to believe that she might be working for them, like Calvin Klein.

She is also a popular figure on YouTube and has over more than 1.3 million subscribers as of December 2018. The couple is not married yet, but they seem to be quite happy with each other. Sommer Ray is likely to appear in boyfriend Max Ehrich's upcoming music video titled Can’t Forget Her Now.
