Singer And Songwriter Monica Brown Files For Divorce From Husband Shannon Brown

It's over!

R&B singer Monica Brown has filed for divorce from her husband Shannon Brown, the former LA Lakers players. TMZ reported Monica filed the divorce papers in Atlanta in early March.

The duo had been married for over seven years. The Grammy winner secretly tied the knot with the athlete, 33 in a private wedding in LA in November 2010. The couple didn't reveal their marriage until 2011.

Later in July 2011, the couple again tied the knot in front of their family and friends. People reported Monica has appeared without a ring on her social media post since February.

Monica and Brown have a 5-year-old daughter, Laiyah Shannon together. Moreover, Monica also has two sons, Rodney, 13, and Romelo, 11,  from her past relationship. On the other hand, Brown also has a son, Christopher from his previous relationship.
