The talented football player was born on October 12, 1989, in Santa Ana, California to Ursula Matthews and Andre Matthews. He holds an American nationality and belongs to White American ethnicity.

Rishard attended Bakersfield College and then was transferred to the University of Nevada, Reno.


The talented player first appeared on the stat log for the Miami Dolphins against the Buffalo Bills in 2012. He was the only receivers to make the final 53-man roster and was a second year player along with Mike Wallace, Brian Hartline, and Brandon Gibson.
