  • The separated couple was last seen together at the 2019 Braemar Highland Games in Scotland.

Queen Elizabeth II's grandson, Peter Phillips, split from his wife of 12 years, Autumn Phillips. Phillips, 42, son of Princess Anne, and Autumn, 41, have two children, Savannah, 9, and Isla,7, together.

Peter, a sports marketing consultant, and Autumn, a management consultant met in her hometown, Canada in 2003 at the Formula One Grand Prix. After around five years of courtship, the pair exchanged their vows at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in 2008.

Autumn, who was raised Roman Catholic, was received into the Church of England before their marriage. If she had been Catholic at the time of her marriage, Peter would have lost his position in the line of succession, who currently stays on the 15th.

The separated couple was last seen together at the 2019 Braemar Highland Games in Scotland, where Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles, and Duchess Camilla also made their appearances.

Meanwhile, the news comes just around a month after Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan Markle stepped down from their royal duties and relocated to Canada.

Unlike other royal children, Peter and his younger sister Zara were raised without royal titles. Their grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, had extended a courtesy title to Anne's children, however, their mother declined.
