Paul Teutul Sr.

Paul Teutul Sr. aka Paul John Teutul is a founder of Orange County Choppers which is a company that manufactures custom bikes. He started to come into the limelight after he released his reality television series, American Chopper. Besides that, he also wrote two books about fabricating automobiles.  

Early Life And Bio Of Paul Teutul Sr.  

Paul Teutul Sr. was born Paul John Teutul on May 1, 1949, in Yonkers, New York, the U.S.A under the zodiac sign Taurus. People who fall under this sign define his traits to be reliable, patient, devoted, and responsible.      

During his early days, he sailed as a member of the United States Merchant Marines Vietnam War, even though he never served in a branch of the United States military.

Paul Teutul Sr. Career  

After Paul returned from the war, he started his own company called Orange County Ironworks, a fabrication shop now solely owned by his son Daniel Teutul. While he was the owner of the company, his son Daniel Teutul served as a manager.

Paul Teutul Sr. started building customs bikes for his pleasure, which he was inspired by many custom bikes appearing on the street and in movies.

In 1999, he left the Orange County Ironworks and founded Orange County Choppers to build custom bikes. Paul offered the company to his son Paul Teutul Jr. and started to produce custom bikes for sale.

Besides building custom bikes, he also published his first book titled Orange County Choppers in 2006 with his son Paul Teutul Jr. After a few years, he again published his second book titled The Ride of a Lifetime in 2009.

Paul Teutul Sr. has also produced and acted in a few movies and series and some of them are Wild Hogs and My Name is Earl

American Chopper is the doc u mentary series produced by him form 2009-2010. In 2010, he made his appearance in his doc u mentary along with his son. He was also featured in another reality series Orange County Choppers: American Made form 2015-2016.

Paul Teutul Sr. Personal Life

Paul Teutul at the age of 69 (2019) is single at the moment, however, he has been married twice. He first got married to Paula Teutul in 1969. The couple was blessed with four children, a daughter Christin Teutul and three sons Daniel Teutul, Michael Teutul, and Paul Teutul Jr

His daughter Christin is a nurse where his three sons are involved in the same profession; a custom bike builder. He was living his happy life with his wife and children until the couple got divorced in 1995.

Talking about his second marriage, he tied the knot to Beth Ann Santos in July 2007. However, their marriage could not last for a long and was separated in 2012 and officially divorced in February 2015.

Is Paul Teutul Sr. Dead?

In April 2016, the social media was flooded with the news of former American Chopper star Paul Teutul Sr. being killed in a motorcycle crash in Louisiana. According to the source, his motorcycle was struck by an SUV in Greta. The rumor went frenzy for sometimes until his show’s official page Orange County Choppers clarified that Teutul’s death was all false.

According to his statement in his official show page:

There are a lot of rumors floating around that Paul Sr. was in an accident and is either in critical condition or has pa s sed away. These are false and Paul Sr. is alive and well! Thanks to everybody for all your concern and messages.

Taking about his online presence, Paul is active on both social media and new media platforms. As of early February 2019, he has about 205k followers on Instagram and 59.7k on Twitter.
