Canadian actress, Nicole Arbour, 32, is a multi-talented person. She is a dancer, choreographer, and a comedian. Started as a cheerleader for the Toronto Raptors, she emerged as a successful actress. She is known as the world’s sexiest comedian and was voted WIRED MAGAZINE’S Hottest Geek in 2009.
Early Life and Career
Nicole Arbour was born on June 26, 1985, in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. As far as her ethnicity, she belongs to North American ethnicity and holds a Canadian nationality.
Arbour started her career as a cheerleader for the Toronto Raptors of the National Basketball Association. She made her acting debut in early 2009. She acted in various TV series including Howie Do It and Silent But Deadly.
Besides acting, she is a good singer as well. She released her first single, Bang Bang on April 30, 2013. She released her next single and music video, Fun Revolution on June 18, 2015. The video was the first Periscope music video to debut.
Arbour was nominated for the Shorty Awards for Best Comedian in April 2015. However, actor, Hannibal Buress successfully won the award in that event.
Personal Life and Controversies
Arbour, age 32, is not engaged or married yet. She was in a relationship with Tavis Stanley, a member of Canadian rock band, Art of Dying. She started dating with her boyfriend, Tavis in 2008. However, the relationship didn’t last long, as they broke up in 2009.
Arbour then started dating a popular YouTuber, Matthew Santoro. In the year 2015, she became a matter of controversy after she posted a viral video, Dear Fat people on her YouTube channel. The video was temporarily unavailable, as it violated YouTube terms of service, but was restored later.
Arbour alongside model Ashley Graham was criticised by both the public and celebrity labeling her comments as downright disgusting. Further, she was fired from an upcoming movie by the director Pat Mills after watching the video. She was also fired from her choreography job.
In 2015, Arbour featured on The View, an American series in order to defend her actions in the Dear Fat People video stating that the video was made to offend people and wasn’t supposed to be taken seriously. She further explained the video has nothing that might be disgusting rather its an intense form of truth-telling.
In 2016, Arbour became a subject of controversy when a YouTuber Matthew Santoro posted a video titled My Abuse Story. In the video, Matthew claims that he was emotionally and physically in an abusive relationship with Arbour although he didn’t mention her name clearly in the video.
The video was accidentally publicized but was made private as soon as Matthew ended the relationship with Arbour. She is currently single and is not dating or having an affair with anyone.
