Nicholai Olivia Rothschild also called as Nicky is an American socialite, model, and fashion designer, well known as the member of the Hilton family by birth, also the member of Rothschild family through her marriage James Rothschild who is the grandson of Victor Rothschild.
Early life and Education
Hilton was born 5th October 1983 in New York City, US, and grew up in Los Angeles. She was born to Richard Hilton, heir of the Hilton family hotel and a real estate agent and her mother, Kathy Hilton, ex-movie star. She is of white ethnicity and holds American nationality.
Nicky Hilton was named after her great-uncle, Conrad Nicholson Hilton Jr. She is the second child among her parent's four children. She has an older sister named Paris Whitney Hilton, and two brothers, Conrad Hughes Hilton III, and Barron Nicholas Hilton.
Hilton was raised Roman Catholic. She is of mixed descent, Germany, Italian, Scottish, English, and Norwegian. She attended Convent of the Sacred Heart, a Catholic school for girls on the Upper East Side, and completed her studies in 2011.
She also took lessons at Fashion Institute of Technology and Parsons The New School for Design but didn't graduate.
Career
Fashion designer
In the year 2004, Nicky Hilton launched her clothing store. She designed numerous handbags for a Japanese company called Samantha Thavasa. In 2007, Hilton opened her second store called Nicholai.
Additionally, she held its fashion show for the spring /summer 2008 season on 9 September 2007, based in New York City during Mercedez Benz Fashion Week.
Later in 2010, Hilton launched a jewelry store. It sells costume jewelry in an art deco style, with the price $ 200 for each. She also started a collection of handbags collaborating with Linea Pelle.
Model
In 2005, Nicky Hilton became that face of Australian underwear store Antz Pantz along with Kimberly Stewart. Stewart still has the contract, but Australian model Megan Maitland replaced Nicky.
During her time as a model, she appeared on the cover of Lucire for its Romanian and New Zealand edition.
Personal life
On 15 August 2004, Nicky Hilton married a businessman and his childhood friend Todd Meister. The ceremony was held at the Vegas Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada, at 2:30 am.
However, their marriage lasted for nearly three months, as Hilton and her husband told, they traveled very often and had married ''on a whim.''
Later in 2011, she started dating James Rothschild, a financier and a member of the Rothschild family. He is the only son of Amschel Rothschild after being introduced at a wedding ceremony of Petra Ecclestone and James Stunt.
On 12 August 2014, when she was on vacation at Lake Combo in Italy, Hilton and Rothschild got engaged. They had a c* * ktail party for the engagement.
On 10 July 2015, Nicky Hilton and James Rothschild officially became husband and wife. The marriage was held at The Orangery in Kensington Palace Gardens in England. On that day, Hilton was in a $77,000 Valentino Haute Couture gown.
Hilton's sister was there as maid of honor. There were many VIP guests including, Kate Beckinsale, Crown Princess Marie Chanta of Greece, Chelsea Clinton and much more.
On 8th July 2016, she gave birth to her first child daughter, Lily Grace Victoria Rothschild.
