The lovebirds have been in a relationship for three years-they started dating after they met through Watt's former teammate Brian Crushing, who is Ohai's brother-in-law (married to her sister Meghan).

Rumors about their relationship sparked in early 2016 after Watt was spotted at Dash games where he was seen sporting the No. 7 jersey; that is Ohai's shirt number. Their relationship was confirmed publicly in 2017 when Ohai appeared on 2 Up Front podcast.

Since then, the couple has been sharing their photos from their outings and vacations with their social media fans. In February 2019, Watt shared photos from their vacation to Laguna Beach, California that also included a snap of them packing on the PDA.
