Moises Alberto Munoz Rodriguez was born in Aguililla on 1 February 1980. Munoz is a Mexican football goalkeeper. He is currently playing in the Liga MX for America. He debuted in the Mexico national team in 2004, the team ended up in the fourth place at 2005 FIFA Confederations Cup. Munoz speaks flawless English due to him living in Northern California during his formative years, attending elementary school and junior high school in Redwood City as an undoc u mented child of migrant workers. He does not have dual citizenship, but his parents have U.S. resident status and live in San Jose. He returned to Mexico before high school and by age 19 he has been playing for his hometown club in Morelia.

Munoz began his career with Monarcas Morelia, eventually moving to Atlante in 2010 and the position he plays from is a goalkeeper and his jersey number is 23. In January 2005, Moises Alberto Munoz Rodriguez and Veronica Castro Alfaro met at G’Day LA, which is a very big event honoring great personalities. They reportedly started dating six months later and were later married. Moises Alberto Munoz Rodriguez and his Spouse Veronica Castro Alfaro have two Children: Hector Moises (aged 8) and Zafiro (aged 3).

He is a great footballer and he is always seen in his casual and formal dress. In June 2012, Munoz lost control of his automobile and crashed while driving to Morelia, Michoacan. On 3 June 2012, Munoz was driving his Honda Odyssey through the highway that connects Mexico City with Guadalajara when he lost control of his vehicle and flipped it on to its roof.

The goalkeeper was heading to Morelia, Michoacan at around 7:00 p.m. with his Spouse Veronica Castro Alfaro, and along with his two Children: Hector Moises (aged 8) and Zafiro (aged 3). Moreover, according to reports by the Mexican Red Cross, Munoz suffered from traumatic brain injury but was "stable and conscience”.Originally, it was reported that Munoz's health condition was serious, but it improved as he received medical attention. It was later stated that his head wound did not risk his life nor his football career. Munoz only had a head wound and never lost conscience of what had happened. Miguel Herrera, manager of Club America, stated in a press conference what Munoz had personally told him.

During the Invierno 2000 league tournament, despite not being their starting goalkeeper, Morelia achieved their only league title with a win against Toluca. Moises Munoz has the experience necessary to protect the finish of the Eagles and keep at zero game by game. Munoz scored in the final of the Clausura 2013, forcing the game to extra time lengthened as in penalties, Moses stopped one, so that was the soul of the team in this great game that ultimately would give the title to the Eagles.

Munoz was summoned along with four other Americans to contest the 2013 Gold Cup with the Mexican National Team. His market value is 2,700,000 Euros. Moises Alberto Munoz Rodriguez is 1.85 m tall and his Weight is 82 kg.
