Notorious MMA Fighter Conor McGregor Arrested In Southern USA After He Smashed A Fan's Mobile While He Tried To Take His Photo

  • UFC fighter and boxer Conor McGregor was arrested Monday afternoon in Miami after he smacked one fan's mobile phone.
  • As per the reports, McGregor slapped the phone off of the boy's hand and smacked several times before he picked it and left the area.
  • He was released Monday night after he paid $12,500 in bail.

Mixed Martial Arts star and UFC superstar Conor McGregor was arrested in Miami, South Florida after he reportedly grabbed a cellphone from a fan who was trying to take his photo.

The Miami Beach Police reported that the 30-year-old Irish fighter and boxer was arrested Monday afternoon and charged with robbery and criminal mischief.

Police further reported McGregor was leaving Fontainebleau shortly after 5 on Monday morning when a 22-year-old boy tried to take his picture. McGregor then slapped the phone off the boy's hand and stamped on it several times. He then took the phone and left the area. Police later arrested McGregor from his local address.

The former UFC featherweight and a lightweight champion, McGregor was released Monday night after paying $12,500 bails.

He made his comeback to UFC last year after the completion of his six month's suspension during which he made his debut in boxing. He was fined $50,000 and suspended from UFC for six months after he involved in a brawl following his loss to Kabib Nurmagomedov in October.
