Former Love Island contestant, Mike Thala s sitis has died. The British reality star died on Friday, March 15, multiple sources confirmed. He was 26 years old.

BBC reported Thala s sitis' management company confirmed his death. He was found dead in his home, Essex on Friday, however, the cause of his death is yet to be revealed.

He rose to prominence after appearing on Love Island in 2017 which was won by Amber Davies and Kem Cetinay. Before, he was a semi-professional soccer player in Britain. According to The Guardian, Mike also appeared on the British reality show Celebs Go Dating.

Many celebrities including fellow Love Island 3 alum Jonny Mitchell took to their social media to pay tribute to Mike. Mitchell wrote he had been heartbroken on his Instagram where he described Thala s sitis as "full of so much positivity and charisma."

Other celebrities including British television presenter Caroline Flack, reality star Rachel Fenton, and fellow Love Island star Alex Bowen also expressed their sorrow on their social media. Here are their social media posts:

Mike was unmarried and wasn't in a relationship with anyone recently, however, sources reported he was in a relationship with The Only Way Is Essex star, Megan McKenna. They split last year after seven months of a relationship.
