American ice dancer Meryl Davis and Russian-Canadian figure skater Fedor Andreev are embarking their next adventure as wife and husband!

The couple has exchanged the vows in an intimate outdoor wedding ceremony in the South of France on 22nd June, Saturday night.

It was Meryl’s uncle Can who officiate their marriage. The duo got married in front of around 95 guests in the backyard garden of the Le Mas des Poiriers. It is the luxuriously renovated farmhouse on an island in Provence built back in the 18th century.

Meryl wore a sleeveless white dress designed by Monique Lhuillier whereas Fedor wore a custom-made deep blue suit without a tie. The pair wrote each other a letter in lieu of vows and read loud before exchanging the rings.

Sharing the news with PEOPLE, Meryl admitted that they had been committed to each other for a long time. She told PEOPLE that their families and closest friends traveled all the way to Europe to celebrate their special day.

Fedor admitted that they are unimaginably in love with each other. He also admitted that he is really excited to make their relationship officially since they both know they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together.

Fedor and Meryl, who have been together for around nine years, got engaged back in July 2017. He popped out the question with a square cut canary yellow diamond ring when they were on a hike in California.
