Baby on the way for Melissa Benoist and Chris Wood! The Supergirl star and the Vampire Diaries star are expecting their first child together.

The actress, 31, took to Instagram on Wednesday, March 4, to announce her pregnancy by sharing a couple of photos. In the first picture, the parents-to-be smiles with their two dogs as the actress holds up a tiny blue tee.

In the second image, the mom-to-be cradled her a fake baby bump of the dad-to-be.

The actor, also 31, shared the same photos to announce the baby news, captioning it, ''The photo is a joke but the news is real…!!!''

Benoist, who has an estimated net worth of $3 million, and Wood started dating in March 2017 and after staying in a romantic relationship for nearly two years, the two got engaged in February 2019. Later on  September 1, 2019, they walked down the aisle.

The former Glee actress was previously married to actor Blake Jenner. The former couple secretly married in March 2015 but later in December  2017, they got a divorce after calling it quits the year prior.
