Martina Stoessel is an Argentine model, dancer, singer, and actress who is famous for her role as Violetta Castillo on Latin American series, Violetta on the Disney Channel. 

Stoessel won the Kids' Choice Awards Argentina 2012 and Kids' Choice Awards Colombia 2014 for Female Newcomer.

Early life and education

Martina Stoessel was born as Martina Alejandra Stoessel Muzlera on 21 March 1997 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is a bilingual person, who is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Stoessel is the daughter of television producer and director Alejandro Stoessel and Mariana Muzlera. She has an elder brother, Francisco.

Stoessel started singing from a young age and studied piano, musical theater, musical comedy and dancing in her native Buenos Aires.

Stoessel studied her elementary and high school in a private school: Colegio San Marcos and Colegio Martín y Omar de Isidro.

Career

Martina Stoessel known as Tini made her first debut on the first season of Argentina hit children's comedy TV series Patito Feo and also portrayed Anna on its episodes' clip show. 

In 2011, she recorded the Shannon Saunder' song 'The Glow,' which was translated into Spanish naming it 'Tu Resplandor'; the song was put on the Disney album 'Disney Princess: Fairy Tale Sing. On 31 December 2011, she sang the song on Celebration in an event for Disney Channel Latin America.

Stoessel's breakthrough role came after she went through the audition for the Disney's upcoming TV series, Violetta in the fall of 2011. She earned the lead role as Violetta and the series' first season was premiered on 14 May 2012. Martina played the title for all the three seasons which ended on  6 February 2015.

Stoessel also sang the show's theme song 'En Mi Mundo,' which was released as a single on 5 April 2012 for the promotion of Violetta. She later recorded another theme song of the show in a Spanish version of 'In My Own World' called 'Nel Mio Mondo.'

 Marina had won the 2012 Kid's Choice Awards Argentina for her role and was nominated for the Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards in the Favorite Latin Artist category. In 2013, she recorded Spanish and Italian version songs of 'Let It Go' for the animated film Frozen called All'Alba soregero and Ser mejor.

The following year she provided her voice for the Italian dubbed version of Dan Scanlon's 'Monster University.' In May 2014, she published her first co-authored biography book about her rise and popularity across the world called  "Simplemente Tini."

Personal life

Martina Stoessel has a relationship with Pepe Barroso Jr. who is a Soccer player turned model, known for the face of the popular clothing brand Hollister.

Model Pepe‘s father is the founder of Don Algodon, a Spanish fashion, and accessories brand. The couple posts their together photos on Instagram and seem very happy with each other.

Previously, Stoessel dated an Argentine actor, singer and former child model, Peter Lanzani for two years since 2012.

Peter is seven years older than Stoessel. He was a lot more mature than her and already had a proper relationship before with Lali (a singer), while for Tini it was her first proper relationship.

Stoessel first met Lanzani on the beach when she was about 14 years old. She was always a fan of Lanzani and he was her idol. Later, they fell in love with each other.

Unfortunately, on April 2015, they broke up because Stoessel said she had a feeling for a Mexico actor, Jorge Blanco who portrayed Leon Vargas in Disney Channels Latin America TV show Violetta.
