American actress, Marissa Ribisi is active in the entertainment industry since 1988 and made her notable appearances on numerous films and television series. Sister of popular actor Giovanni Ribisi and makeup artist Gina Ribisi, Marissa is mostly known for her role, Cynthia Dunn in the American coming-of-age movie Dazed and Confused (1993). She is also popular for her appearance in the movies such as True Crime, Pleasantville, Don's Plum, and The Brady Bunch Movie.

Marissa Ribisi began acting at the of nine and debuted on television, appearing in an episode of 1998 American sitcom, My Two Dads as a minor red-haired character named Ginger. She then starred in Baywatch as Paula (1990), DEA as Wendy (1991), and the miniseries Tales of the City as Receptionist (1993).
In 1993, Ribisi debuted in the big screen in the American coming-of-age comedy film, Dazed and Confused as Cynthia Dunn a socially marginalized girl who runs with two verbose outsiders played by Adam Goldberg and Anthony Rapp. She was cast alongside Juliette Lewis, Michael Rapaport, Giovanni Ribisi, and Matthew McConaughey.
From 1994 to 1998, Ribisi featured in several TV series, as well as movies, such as Grace Under Fire (1994 TV Series), The Brady Bunch Movie (1995), Encino Woman (1996, TV Movie), Hollywood Confidential (1997, TV Movie), Pleasantville (1998), and many more.

Scientology has helped me recently. And Marissa too. A lot of people think of it as a religion, and sometimes they have trouble getting their heads around something that doesn’t involve a deity. And I think if someone is making a judgment when they don’t really have firsthand experience, it’s intolerant, which to me is kind of insidious.
The couple is blessed with two children, a son Cosimo Henri Hansen (born in 2004) and a daughter, Tuesday Hansen (born on 2007). As of 2018, the family of four resides in Los Angeles.
